Supervised Practical Placement V - PSY981

This unit is the final practical placement unit for the Doctor of Clinical Psychology program. Students must have completed PSY956 and PSY957 to commence PSY981. The aim of the Doctoral placement is to carry out an intensive learning experience in a specialty within Clinical Psychology often linked to their doctoral research. At 500 hours, the placement allows the student to carry out more advanced professional work and operate more independently, than in prior placements. It provides the opportunity to build more advanced skills such as program development and evaluation, policy development, team management and therapy with more complex cases.
