Supervised Practical Placement IV - PSY959
This unit is the third and final external practical placement unit for the Masters Professional Degree program in Clinical Psychology. Students must have almost completed PSY956 to commence PSY959. The type of external placement experience is determined largely by APAC. However the last placement will also be guided by career aspirations. Placements vary in the exact experiences available to students, including assessing clients, applying various therapeutic interventions as well as developing the Professional skills to become a Clinical Psychologist. In PSY959 students are still supervised but as the last practical placement unit, they will be reasonably independent, requiring minimal direction.
