Supervised Practical Placement II - PSY957
This unit is the first external practical placement unit for the Professional Degree programs in Clinical Psychology. Students must have successfully passed their mid-placement review of PSY956 to commence PSY957. The type of external placement experience is determined largely by APAC, who require specific experiences over the three external placement units. These can be completed in any order. Placements vary in the exact experiences available to students, but can include assessing clients, applying various therapeutic interventions as well as developing the Professional skills of a Clinical Psychologist. In PSY957 students are still supervised closely but developing increased independence.
