Greek Inscriptions - AHPG803
In this unit students will read and discuss inscriptions and other non-literary texts, such as papyri. Technical aspects of the study of such texts, such as palaeography, epigraphy and codicology will also be covered. Knowledge of the ancient language of the texts chosen is required. Specific texts may be chosen to suit the research interests of the students taking the unit and the staff teaching the unit.
