English as a Foreign Language Expansion II - EFLA202
This advanced unit in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Program is designed for students from non-English speaking backgrounds, aiming to further develop their high-level English language skills for effective communications in academic settings. It develops advanced skills in critical reading, going beyond the basic reading comprehension level. Students will also be engaged in tasks designed to develop their critical and analytical thinking skills. It covers various academic text types including different types of essays, critical reviews and poster presentations. Students will also have opportunities to develop advanced skills and knowledge in the structural properties of English. Students will be equipped with advanced and effective language skills for various social and academic contexts.
