Ancient Greek D - AHIS309
This unit aims to help history students consolidate advanced skills in ancient Greek. The unit completes the systematic analysis of grammar begun in unit AHIS308 and further investigates the concepts of dialectal variation and historical development in the classical and post-classical periods. The unit also aims to help students consolidate their skills in reading original Greek literary and documentary texts, and analysing the significance of Greek for the study of relevant ancient cultures.
