Advanced Research Methodologies in Health - HSYP814

In this unit you will develop practical skills to design a Public Health research project. We will build on your previous knowledge of Epidemiology and Biostatistics particularly in the areas of study design and methods of analysis; and extend into literature review, research governance and ethics applications, developing a research proposal and disseminating research. You will be able to learn these skills and apply them in the context of a research topic in an area of your interests. By the end of the unit you will prepare a research proposal which can form your research project should you enrol in the Master of Public Health - Research specialisation.
