Introduction to Epidemiology and Biostatistics - HSYP802
This Unit provides an introduction to scientific inquiry and evidence fundamental to public health research and practice. Students will be introduced to epidemiology, biostatistics, qualitative and mixed methods, via modules designed with an integrated approach to learning in mind. Students will learn about study design, analysis, and interpretation and critical appraisal. They will gain an understanding of the importance of evidence to the field of public health.
