Organisation of Early Childhood Education - ECED745

This unit is of relevance to students aspiring towards leadership positions within early childhood organisations and are interested in doing higher degree research. Students will explore the structural arrangements of early childhood organisations in Australia. It involves the analysis of the socio-political contexts and critical appraisal of structural forces influencing the management and leadership of early childhood organisations. It will enable students to deepen their understanding of governance, legislative and accountability requirements in relation to quality service provision. There will be an emphasis on both an understanding of advanced concepts as well as their application in research and/or professional environments.
