DEM355: Social and Applied Demography
This unit focuses on the implications of demographic trends for businesses and governments in Australia and selected overseas countries. Some of the topics covered include: world population trends; demographic and business consequences of migration; socio-demographic implications of the changing status of women around the world; and some case studies on consumer demographics in Australia and China.
