International Study Tour - FOBE330

The unit develops the key concepts of business, marketing and management with typically a special focus on innovation and leadership in international business operations. Students will enhance knowledge and understanding of the international business environment by bringing together aspiring, like-minded young minds from Australia, to enrich their network and knowledge about global activities. Students are expected to simultaneously demonstrate knowledge about the foreign market visited and apply knowledge gained to their disciplinary areas. The unit is structured with several seminars as well as a study tour overseas. Students will be provided with a unique opportunity to speak directly with international business leaders and scholars across national boundaries and build their real and virtual international networks. The ultimate objective is for students to 'bridge' theory to practice in an international context.
This unit requires students to attend a supervised study tour for which additional costs are involved. Contact the Department of Marketing and Management for full details.
