Overview and Aims of the Program | Business Administration with Professional Accounting will give you a solid business understanding and the skills to practice as a qualified accountant. In this double degree you'll study important business areas including marketing, management, statistics and human resource management. You'll also prepare to practice as an accountant by studying techniques and elements of finance, management, microeconomics and auditing. This program is also accredited with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and CPA Australia following a review of the content of the program, the quality of the teaching staff and graduates, as well as teaching, learning and assessment methods. The professional accounting program is accredited by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). This enables students on completion of the program to apply for Associate Membership (ASA) of CPA Australia, entry to the ICAA's Charted Accountant (CA) Program (provided the work related criterion is met) and Associate Membership (ANIA) of the IPA.
