Public Health Informatics - HSYP817
This unit will provide students with the knowledge and skills to navigate new and emerging technologies and their implementation in public health. An overview of the use of technology will be provided (including e-health, computer informatics, mobile applications and telemedicine). The unit will comprise three core components.
1. Public Health Informatics
2. Safety and ethics
3. Evaluation- assessing feasibility, acceptability, cost effectiveness, ethics
