Quantitative Methods - ACCG615
This unit provides an advanced level of understanding and application of the quantitative and statistical techniques which are frequently used in accounting and financial disciplines. It develops logical reasoning, objective analysis, and the ability to make inferences based on empirical evidence. By the end of the unit students will be able to understand and apply statistical techniques such as probability, sampling, measurement, correlation, regression and hypothesis testing in various contexts. The unit emphasises the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills
