Chemistry - WFCH001
This unit considers the physical and chemical properties of matter, how and why matters transform into different matters, and the change in energy. It attempts to provide chemical explanations and to predict events at both macroscopic and microscopic level. In this unit, students will explore the fundamental concepts that underpin some important chemical processes. Students will examine how chemical theories, models, and practices are developed and applied. Advancements in the field of chemistry will be discussed as will their impact on individuals and society.
