Accounting - WFAC001
This unit introduces students to the role of accounting in the business world and provides a foundation for first year undergraduate studies in accounting, commerce, business administration and finance.
Students will gain an understanding of the fundamental theoretical concepts and principles and language of accounting as well as discipline related ethical considerations. They will gain practical experience in recording, analysing and reporting of financial data and apply theoretical concepts to real life business scenarios.
