| Overview and Aims of the Program |
The Bachelor of Commerce with the degree Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) equips you with a comprehensive range of business skills and knowledge through flexible unit choice across a variety of business and commerce disciplines.
This program lets you gain a comprehensive understanding of Commerce and business functions, strategy and skills whilst equipping you with a wide range of fundamental psychological concepts which will help you understand how people think, act and feel.
Progression to honours is completed in the 5th year, subject to a specified level of high achievement. On completion of this degree, students are able to proceed to postgraduate training in psychology towards registration as a psychologist. |

14. demonstrate the capacity for critical thinking and independent learning to solve problems related to a range of issues, including behaviour and mental processes (K, T, P, I, J, L)
15. communicate concepts and results clearly and effectively both in writing and orally to the professional requirements of the discipline (C)
16. engage in a critical review of appropriate and relevant information regarding psychological processes and demonstrate analytical research skills in evaluating psychological literature. Recognise and evaluate arguments and other persuasive appeals and approaches to problems (K, T, C, P)

The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) is a degree with an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited sequence of study and allows you to proceed to further study in the profession of psychology or a higher research degree.
