Medical Education and Simulation - MEDI852
This unit applies educational theory to the clinical environment and will be of interest to a wide variety of healthcare professionals who are involved in training or developing systems to improve patient safety. Students will explore a range of simulation-based learning methodologies that can improve patient safety and quality of care. There will be opportunities to practice in simulated clinical environments to help teach the important non-technical skills such as decision making, situation awareness and communication.
