LAW-PAL: Leading Peer Learning - LAW442

This unit allows students who have already been selected to act as Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) leaders, running sessions focused on improving learning and associated skills, to gain academic credit for their work. PAL encourages students to support each other and to learn co-operatively under the guidance of PAL leaders. PAL leaders provide opportunities for students to practice skills such as communication, problem solving, and critical analysis. Fostering these skills, PAL leaders aim to help students learn how to help one another and themselves with their learning. The benefits to both PAL students and leaders include the development of leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, and independence and autonomy as learners.
