This unit is designed to provide a forum for the discussion of the issues to do with psychological assessment. We will discuss theories of intelligence and their application to the administration and interpretation of the WAIS-IV and the WISC-IV, the two most commonly used IQ tests. Lectures will also be devoted to personality testing and testing in the domains of organisational assessment and neuropsychological assessment.
