German Research Option - GMN398

Students in this unit are required to individually research a particular topic under the guidance of a staff member in the German Studies programme. They are required to produce a carefully articulated research paper of 6000 words in German, or 8000 words in English. The research topic must be approved by the unit convenor, who also determines the most appropriate supervisor for the project. Topics can be chosen amongst most fields of German culture including: language, literature, history, politics, art, education, sport, and social issues.
