Introductory French I - FRN122
This unit is designed for students who have little or no knowledge of French. The most recent methods, including web activities, are used to develop students' skills in reading, writing, comprehension and speaking. The unit also provides students with a framework they can build upon to communicate effectively in French and introduces students to contemporary French culture. The work in this unit is of a very intensive nature. In addition to the compulsory class hours, an online program provides students with extra material for their written, oral and aural practice. The on campus session for external students is compulsory for students from the Sydney metropolitan area.
