Drama in Performance - ECHL311
In this unit students develop the necessary creative and production skills for the presentation of a public performance, using a range of theatrical styles, genres and media. Students work collaboratively to devise original works for audiences that may be presented in a variety of conventional and unconventional performance spaces. The unit encourages students to think about the purpose of drama performance as both an aesthetic medium and a vehicle for social commentary and change. Students contribute to group blogs throughout the semester to support, document and reflect on the creative process as a whole.
