Planning and Designing Research in Early Childhood - ECHH440
This unit provides students with the opportunity to engage in ongoing discussion about the nature of the research process, and deepen their understanding of ethical and philosophical issues arising from research. Students critically review the recent literature relevant to their areas of research interest and generate a project proposal and specific research questions to be investigated in the unit, ECHH401. Students deal with commonly used qualitative and quantitative research methods and procedures.
