Translation Practice 2 - TRAN820
This unit provides students with practical opportunities to develop their translation competencies further. This unit involves the translation of various types of texts. Students discuss problems encountered in the course of translation such as text analysis and stylistics, register, and language usage, as well as equivalence at different levels. It is aimed at introducing strategies to solve more challenging problems and leading students to establish their own strategies.
