Psychological Assessment II - PSYN842

The main aim of this unit is to build on the content of PSYN853 by focusing on the assessment of neuropsychological conditions and the selection of test batteries for particular conditions (eg, assessment of dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, sports-related concussion and malingering). Full use of clinical case material and exposure to a wide range of tests is provided. Students are expected to research a particular battery and present the findings in class or at a workshop. Introduction to the MMPI-2 is also included.
