Information and Decision Analysis - MGSM960
This unit presents the necessary tools and technological skills to enable the modern business manager to assess practical problems that arise in the workplace and to solve them with the aid of appropriate quantitative techniques. Topics covered include the development of statistical skills, data analysis, and computer modelling for both strategic planning and tactical decision-making. It also covers the efficient use of all resources to enhance the effectiveness of management. The overall aim is to improve the reliability of decisions made and to better enable an appropriate strategy to be adopted through the use of scientific method.
