Operations and Logistics Strategy - MGSM891

Today's competitive market demands that people in all business functions understand the role of operations and supply chain management as a competitive weapon in global markets. The procedures, processes, systems and methods used within an organisation are an inherent component of an organisation's success. Focusing on the entire value chain is needed in order to manage the intricacies of the global marketplace. Areas covered in this unit include current issues in operations and supply chain strategies; structuring and refining the operating system; performance assessment, metrics and planning; and challenges in operations and supply chain management (eg collaboration and sustainability).
