Public Performance for Managers - MGSM877
This unit examines the requirements of and teaches those techniques needed to produce effective public performances including meetings, presentations, debate and discussions, conference key note appearances, sales presentations, bid presentations, fund raiser speeches, and political speeches. The unit requires the student to demonstrate competencies in delivering effective public performances both prepared and impromptu. The course analyses techniques used in political speeches and classical oratory. Methods of public discourse, argument and persuasion are studied.
