Surgical Elective Reflective Portfolio 4 - MEDI865
By completing this unit candidates will develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of reflective surgical practice. The reflective practice portfolios enable candidates to engage in an intensive, competency-based learning experience in a sub-specialty within surgery. Each portfolio is focused on a particular procedure or condition, as agreed upon with the candidate's supervisor. Reflective practice portfolios allow candidates to direct their own learning, working independently to develop lifelong reflective learning skills for surgical research and practice. Through integration with the surgical team, candidates will develop skills required for an academic surgical career, including leadership, reflection and professionalism.
