Twentieth Century Literature - LIT804

This unit offers a detailed overview of the key issues and movements that have shaped – and been shaped by – the poetry, fiction and non-fiction of the last century. It aims to situate works in their critical and cultural contexts, following developments from the radical formal innovations in the early decades of the century through to the more reflective, ethically responsive texts of the post-war years.
