Europe, the European Union, and the International System - IRPG832
This unit examines the history and development of the European Union. It incorporates inquiry into the origins and evolution of the concept of 'Europe' and theoretical perspectives on EU integration and expansion. The EU as a global actor, member states and institutions, various policy areas, important international relationships, strategic challenges, and questions of identity are among the other topics analysed.
