Resuscitation and Clinical Procedures - AHMC804
This unit is offered on a pass/fail basis.
Candidates will demonstrate competence in the skills required for managing patients undergoing acute life-threatening events in a range of patients not commonly seen in the Emergency Department. Skills covering the entire continuum of care including recognition of patient deterioration, advanced life support therapies, and transport and referral of the patient in the post-resuscitation phase will be covered. Learning and assessment activities are directed at the application of these competencies in the clinical setting.
