Patient Assessment and Communication - AHMC802
This unit is offered on a pass/fail basis.
Candidates completing this unit will demonstrate competence in standardised clinical assessment of the hospitalised patient and the formulation of prioritised management plans. In this unit, candidates will also focus on competence and leadership for key skills including concise record keeping, medical handover, referrals, communication with other staff, departments, and the process of managing the patient's care on discharge from hospital. Learning and assessment has been designed to reflect clinical practice priorities.
