Contemporary Health Issues - HLTH200
This unit provides and introduction to the multidisciplinary field of Health Studies and considers key and emerging health issues in contemporary society. Topics covered include health and inequality; indigenous health; ethical perspectives; health promotion; and the impacts of globalization on health. The unit situates debates about contemporary health issues within their broader context. HLTH200 is A core unit in the Bachelor of Health program, and is also open to all students.
