Early Childhood Reflective Practice 6 - ECHP423
In this unit, students are provided with an opportunity to extend their professional practice. Students are placed in a setting of their choice and focus on the use of reflective skills to develop personal strengths in professional problem solving. There are three options for field experience in this unit. First, a student may choose to complete three weeks of teaching with associated observation days. Second, a student may organise a placement with a professional colleague for one day a week throughout the semester to conduct an action research project. Third, a student employed in an early childhood service may use the setting as the basis for a self-directed action research project.
