Infancy and Early Development - ECH226
This unit explores the development of infants and young children from birth to three years within the Australian social context. Theories and research which attempt to describe and explain early childhood development and individual differences are critically evaluated and discussed. Implication for the prenatal, cognitive, social-emotional, language and motor development during the first three years of life are examined.
