Key Research Issues and Methods in Special Education - SPED801
This unit builds on student's exposure to research in undergraduate programs to build a deep understanding of the role of research in special education. It provides an examination of the key principles and practice of research as it relates to special education and to specific and current issues impacting on policy and service delivery. Students will gain both an understanding of a range of research methodologies used in special education research and an ability to critically evaluate the research literature.
