Psychological Assessment II - PSYN842

The main aim of this unit is to build on the content of PSYN822/853 Psychological Assessment I by focusing on assessment of neuropsychological conditions and the selection of test batteries for particular conditions. For example: assessment of dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, sports-related concussion and malingering. Full use of clinical case material and exposure to a wide range of tests in provided. Students are expected to research a particular battery and present the findings in class or at a workshop. Introduction to the MMPI-2 is also included.
