Industry Based Internship B - ITEC904
ITEC904 continues on from ITEC903 and is the second industry placement, again one semester long. The intern will be expected to apply the knowledge gained in their prior MIT (or equivalent) and also make use of knowledge gleaned in ITEC903.
The ITEC904 student will again be expected to present their intership experiences to academics in the Department of Computing in professional quality presentations. Through the semester, the intern will need to keep a reflective journal of their work experience which will be assessed by academic staff.
It is expected that by the completion of ITEC904 the intern will have developed the necessary tacit knowledge and general management skills to competently perform ICT work in a workplace the following year.
