BBE303: Independent Research Project in Brain, Behaviour and Evolution
In this highly selective individualised unit, students carry out one research project in the lab of a staff member at the Department of Brain, Behaviour and Evolution. The Department, as a Concentration of Research Excellence, has excellent research facilities. Projects with fieldwork may also be carried out. Much like a mini-Honours project, students are individually supervised, as part of the research community. Students are expected to put in much effort, with the unit being worth double the usual credit points. The unit provides an excellent opportunity to do some hands-on research.
