STAT321: Logistics and Project Management

This unit consists of two modules, project management, followed by logistics. Project management, topics include: network diagrams, Gantt charts, resource smoothing, resource-limited scheduling, CPM, PERT analysis and time-cost tradeoffs. Logistics topics include: break-even analysis, supply chain management, push and pull systems, materials management, JIR and MRP methods. Practical applications are undertaken using Microsoft Project.
