HRM107: Introduction to Human Resources
This unit provides an introduction to human resource management (HRM) in Australia and the current industrial relations setting. Major HRM topic areas include: human resource planning and staffing; employee training and performance appraisal; managing diversity in the workforce; redundancy; and outplacement. The unit emphasises HRM practices in Australia and internationally and draws on case studies and related research to illustrate these practices.
