This unit covers the complexities of hospital management in the Australian health system, focusing on the integration of hospital management with clinical practice. Topics include; health economics, insurance, facilities design and management and influencing change. There will be opportunity to participate in authentic assessment scenarios, including a simulated boardroom presentation.
