Engineering Simulation - ENGG625

The unit is designed to teach students basic formulation of equations commonly used in engineering and covers topics such as numerical differentiation and integration of differential equations and partial differential equations using various methods such as the central differencing scheme, Runge-Kutta methods, Stiffness and multistep methods and Boundary value and Eigenvalue problems. The unit will also emphasize on optimization techniques and curve fitting methods such as least square regression, Fourier Approximation etc.
