Indigenous Australian Heroines and Heroes - ABST101

This unit will explore the notions of Indigenous agency, ingenuity and empowerment through the lives and actions of a diverse range of compelling Indigenous people. Through these individuals we will reconstruct the related historical and contemporary eras and will examine the broader social implications of their actions. Students will engage with lives of individuals from a broad range of fields including, sport, politics, education and the arts.
