Current Issues in Accounting and Finance - MGSM978

This research unit focus on the theoretical issues and concepts underlying the practice of accounting, finance and related disciplines. There is particular focus on understanding and applying of the conceptual framework, and its role in industry practice. This unit examines a range of specific issues in financial accounting and corporate regulation with emphasis on both the application of specific accounting and finance techniques/rules and the conceptual/theoretical issues associated with alternative reporting methods.
