This unit focuses on helping managers make better decisions using marketing research. Designed with the view of understanding the various research methods, it examines the various methodological issues, and the qualitative and quantitative research methods, to better understand and answer the specific research questions relevant to businesses. Students are taken through the entire process of marketing research, determining the initial research question(s), designing the appropriate research plan, collecting and analysing the research question(s) specific data, writing the research report to answer the initial research questions, and implementing the recommended marketing solutions.
