Contemporary Perspectives in Strategy - MGNT825

Building on the traditional approaches, frameworks and theories commonly used in setting strategy, this unit explores new and emergent perspectives in strategy. Students will undertake the process of strategy setting using such perspectives as Design Thinking, Business Models (via the Business Model and Value Proposition Canvas) and Lean Start-Up. Importantly, this unit provides students with the opportunity to integrate these new perspectives and reflect on the ways in which they can be used in concert with more traditional approaches to strategy setting.
