Early Development 2 - ABEC313

This unit examines current research and theory in the area of child development during the preschool years. Contemporary issues and thinking concerning physical, cognitive, social and emotional development are considered and particular attention is paid to the implications of the content for educators working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and communities. The unit also considers the influence of key relationships with parents, siblings and peers for children’s development.
